As a family run company, dedicated to caring for and supplying our customers needs, we started selling cheese from the back of an old van during the recession in the late 80’s.This, as a result of a slump in the engineering industry which put our previous business out of operation.

Not knowing a thing about cheese yet thinking that such a staple product should surely be able to provide us a living, we drove from Kent to Somerset to buy cheese from Maryland Farm with whom we still have an ongoing relationship.

We touted cheese from the back of an old van cutting and packing cheese on the kitchen table with our Siamese cats showing keen interest. – ( health and safety requirements a little different now!)

We still remember the day when with much excitement we declared we had covered our petrol costs for the month.

To cut a long story short, we are now totally addicted to cheese and spend our time encouraging others to enjoy the delights of the incredibly diversified world of cheese.

Enough of us….. This site is dedicated to all our customers both old and new, assuring them of the best service we can give. No, not perfect, but with the aim of giving personal interest to each customer and their requirements, whether it be giving advice for quantities needed for a particular occasion or perhaps products for a themed meal.

Although always cheese specialists, a large proportion of our business is now centred around catering products along with pre packed cheeses and home cooked meats prepared by our dedicated production team.
